ASL update

Unread post by copernic2006 »

Hello,
Just to be clear, the update requires a reinstallation asl.
The aum-u command followed by asl -s -f is no longer used?

Thank you for helping me understand.

No. You do not need to reinstall. For 4.0 to 4.0.1 upgrades you just need to run "aum -u" and "asl -s -f " as usual, as documented below:

https://www.atomicorp.com/wiki/index.ph ... 0_to_4.0.x

For 3.2 to 4.0, you need to run the installer, as documented below:

https://www.atomicorp.com/wiki/index.ph ... 3.2_to_4.0

In neither case do you need to reinstall.
